Career Motivation: "The appeal of helping others through matchmaking and potentially finding their future spouses was very rewarding for many years." according to Nancy. During her matchmaking years in particular, she discovered that most people gravitate to and attract the same type of person, regardless of who she matched them to, in order to work out past relationship issues. We draw all events and individuals into our lives for our higher good and considers this is God's way of teaching valuable lessons. The challenge is to examine past relationship patterns and make a determined effort to break those barriers to love once and for all.
Why She Became an Author: Once she experienced how wonderful, fulfilling and amazing marriage to the right person personally, she was energized to pursue her life long dream of writing and wrote her first book, The Right Relationship Can Happen. She wanted to provide a useful guide for singles to achieve relationship happiness and show how inspirational marriage can be to the right person. The popularity of The Right Relationship Can Happen combined with her increased blessings of wisdom led Nancy to write a detailed, God centered guide to finding true love.
In Goodbye, Mr. Wrong, her advice shows how one can emotionally and spiritually prepare for a lasting, loving, and fulfilling commitment. Highlighted is the importance of strengthening your faith in God in order to receive a divinely blessed relationship.
By exploring the reasons why negative core beliefs form, one will understand how those convictions impact relationship choices. Actual stories from those with similar struggles are featured. Their relationship journeys reveal how patterns develop and Nancy's advice brings to light the power of forgiveness.
Extending her advice towards college students, Nancy published The Ultimate College Relationship Guide. In her trademark straightforward style, she illustrates how it is never too early to prepare for a loving, lasting and emotionally healthy relationship. She is passionate about teaching college students the importance of releasing negative relationship patterns early in life in order to attract a relationship partner one can grow with when the time is right.
Walk with God: In Nancy's words: "As a life-long Christian, I always believed in Jesus as my Savior and knew God watched over me, even during times when I felt emotionally lost and alone. However, my faith and relationship with God has dramatically deepened since I met my husband. I have been extremely inspired by the ministry at Lakewood Church and am awestruck by the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit in the sanctuary. I am very blessed to be an ongoing speaker for their singles ministries. I draw strength and wisdom every week from every song of praise, worship and sermon."
Personal Biography: In Nancy's words: "Outside of my writing pursuits, I am an avid runner (3 miles a day) and love to read. I am really careful about the movies I watch and the books I read - more so than I was earlier in life. I tend to read the Bible more than any other book as it inspires me each day and brings peace and joy to my heart. I truly enjoy visiting family and developing deep and meaningful relationships. My husband and I share a love for travel and look forward to exploring more of the world in the coming years."
